On Design of Reduced-Order H∞ Filters for Discrete-Time Systems from Incomplete Measurements

چکیده
In networked control systems, when data are transmitted over wireless channels, measurements of the transmitted data are often incomplete due to transmission errors and/or packet losses. The problem of designing reduced-order H∞ filters for discrete-time systems from incomplete measurements is investigated in this paper. A Bernoulli distributed white sequence is adopted as a model for the normal operating condition of packet delivery and transmission failure. The reduced-order filter to be designed from incomplete measurements is required to to ensure the mean-square stability of the filtering error system and to guarantee a prescribed H∞ filtering performance level. It is shown that such a desired reduced-order H∞ filter can be constructed under a sufficient condition expressed in terms of two linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) subject to a rank constraint.

Abstract: This paper deals with the problem of robust H∞ filtering for discrete time-delay systems with stochastic perturbation and nonlinear disturbance. It is assumed that the state-dependent noises and the nonlinearities satisfying global Lipschitz conditions enter into both the state and measurement equations, and the system matrices also contain parameter uncertainties residing in a polyto...

The line of sight (LOS) rate is a parameter that is needed to calculate the acceleration applied to missiles by the proportional guidance laws in order to hit the target. This rate is usually measured using gimbaled seekers. However, if the type of missile seeker be strap down, the LOS rate must be calculated from deriving the missile's seeker output angles or estimation methodes. The derivatio...
